Well, Christmas was absolutely great. We had Aaron's dad and stepmom down a couple of weeks before Christmas and went to the Nutcracker with them and some of our friends. Then we had an early Christmas. Fun times! On Christmas day, my parents, sister, brother in law, niece and nephew came over. Whew! It was a whirlwind day. We did the whole Christmas dinner thing after eating a late brunch. I am soooooooooooo glad that my husband can cook, or we'd have been in some serious trouble. :o) As much as we're ready to have a baby of our own, spending the whole day with my niece and nephew was exhausting. They're everywhere and into everything. Man, parenting is hard. How do you even keep up??! Now it's New Year's day, and I've pretty much been trying to get the house in order while keeping up on all the bowl games. Some Christmas stuff is put away. The house looks to be in semi good order, and I've done about a million loads of laundry. This is what happens when you procrastinate! I don't mind doing laundry, but I let it pile up on me until it's out of control! Crazy me! Our friends Josh and Angela had their sweet baby a few days ago. So exciting! Beckham is precious.
So all in all it's been a lovely holiday. I'll be so sad when it's over, but for now, I plan to relish these last couple of days off and know that having two days with the kiddos shouldn't be TOO bad. Then it's the weekend again. Hooray!
Perhaps later I'll get some Christmas pics posted....but who knows??? I don't want anyone to get their hopes up...... :o) HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
